I found this book about your life and work experience
extremely interesting. I especially enjoyed reading about your Chinese restaurant episode,
the trip you and Cody took on The World (what a ship!), the fine private clubs you managed, and the ups and downs you’ve had with a few of your bosses. That
just shows that, no matter how great a job someone is doing there are always some knuckleheads in this world.
Author Norm Spitzig is more than just writing about the well-lived life. Rather, he has raised the bar in his own fields of expertise: Master Club Advisor, entrepreneur, speaker – and now, according to this reviewer, outstanding author. So what special or unique rating can I give this book? It’s easy: Five Perfect Twisdoms and Five Outstanding General Managers. This is a wonderfully readable and enjoyable book.
This book was a great memoir from a person who has accomplished much in his life. What was nice about the book was how he takes the wisdom from his life and shares it in an easy-to-understand way. I particularly enjoyed the little snippets that he shares throughout the book – his Twisdom’s. I also thought that the author does a great job at sharing his experiences throughout the book. Through a true first person narrative you are given vast insight into the author’s life, but also maxims that you can incorporate into your own to help you become the person that you want to be!
